CNC Milling Part
CNC milling is a subtractive manufacturing process. It starts by fixturing a block of metal or plastic material inside the CNC mill. Using G-code, the CNC machine is programmed to rapidly mill out parts from the block of raw material. Our 3- and 5-axis CNC machines are equipped with various toolsets to maximize efficiency and production speed.
Machined plastic parts are left as-milled, which typically means they show visible tool marks. Some metal parts allow more finishing choices like anodizing and chromate plating. When the run is complete and your required surface finish is applied, parts are boxed and shipped
Machined part can be easily customizable
Indeed, this is an advantage, if not a big plus for CNC machining tools. For example, using the diamond tool for CNC machining parts of aluminum, here the tool would be perfectly finished the custom aluminum parts with exact accuracy and a really great light-reflecting effect for optical usage. Besides, for plastic parts which requested to be clear or transparent, the diamond tool could also process the machined parts with a better final polishing effect.
The combination of 5-axis CNC machining and 3-axis CNC machining, also with the combined application of CNC milling and CNC lathe machining, diversified and flexible machining process settings can achieve the processing for more complex and customized parts
